LAHORE: A third consignment of 32 tons of relief items was dispatched to drought-affected people of Tharparkar from the Army Relief Camp at Fortress Stadium on Wednesday, says an ISPR press release.

The consignment, consisting of six truckloads, left Lahore for Tharparkar, Chachoro, Diplo, Dali, Islamkot and suburbs of Nagarpar. The relief goods include food items, blankets, clean drinking water, medicines and beds.

The army has established seven relief camps in Lahore Garrison.
