QUETTA: The district police officer of Kharan and his driver were injured when gunmen opened fire at his vehicle on Monday.

According to official sources, DPO Mohammad Anwar was going to his office along with driver Khuda Nazar when they came under fire.

Both were brought to Combined Military Hospital, Quetta, in critical condition.

PIPELINE BLOWN UP: A gas pipeline was blown up at the Loti gas plant in Dera Bugti district, disrupting supply from the plant.

Official sources said repair work on the damaged portion of the pipeline had been started.
