QUETTA: A delegation of the ruling PML-N headed by Senator Raja Zafarul Haq arrived here on Saturday to resolve differences between provincial legislators belonging to PML-N, National Party (NP) and Pakhtunkhwa Milli Awami Party (PkMAP).

The delegation will submit its report to Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif after holding meetings and assessing the situation.

Provincial ministers, led by provincial president of PML-N Nawab Sanaullah Zehri, have tense relation with Chief Minister Dr Malik Baloch and PkMAP ministers over running of the government affairs in Balochistan.

The four-member delegation comprises Senator Raja Zafarul Haq, party’s general secretary Iqbal Zafar Jhagra, federal minister Khawaja Saad Rafiq and Senator Sardar Yaqoob Nasar.

“We came here to listen to our party ministers and coalition partners of NP and PkMAP and our conciliatory efforts would be to remove the misunderstanding,” said Saad Rafiq while talking to newsmen after a meeting with PML-N ministers.

Mr Zehri told the PML-N team that the chief minister and other cabinet members had ignored them while making important decisions.

The PML-N ministers also complained that finance department used delaying tactics in release of funds.
