CHARSADDA: Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam-Fazl has said that imperialist forces want to occupy resources of world and establish a free society in the region.

Announcing schedule for protest demonstrations against targeted killings and attacks on party leaders, the JUI-F leaders said here on Thursday that secular parties wanted to fulfil the agenda of their western masters.

They were addressing Haji Sahib Tarangzai Conference, organised by local chapter of JUI-F. The conference was addressed by JUI-F central general secretary Maulana Abdul Ghafoor Haideri, provincial chief Maulana Gul Naseeb Khan and Federal Minister Akram Khan Durani.

They said that PTI, PPP, ANP, PML-N and all other secular parties were out to fulfil the agenda of their western masters but JUI-F would prove a stumbling block in their way. They vowed to frustrate their designs.

The JUI-F leaders said that imperialist forces were working on their two-point agenda -- to occupy world resources and establish a free society in the region. They said that peace throughout the globe, particularly in the region, was disturbed owing to anti-Islam agenda of America and its allies.

Announces to hold rally in Peshawar against attacks on party leaders

Unveiling a protest campaign, they said that JUI-F would hold a rally against attacks on party leaders at Namak Mandi, Peshawar on Friday (today) while a march on Islamabad would be held on March 1.

They said that protest demonstrations would be held on December 19, January 2, 15 and 30 throughout the country.

The conference was also addressed by JUI-F district president Maulana Mohammad Hashim Khan, general secretary Mufti Pir Gohar Ali Shah, MNA Maulana Gohar Shah, former MNA Maulana Mohammad Sadiq, former MPA Maulana Mohammad Idress, Maulana Amanullah Haqqani and Khalifa Pir Ashfaq.

The speakers paid rich tributes to freedom fighter Haji Sahib Tarangzai and said that he waged jihad against British rule in 1897 on his return from India after completion of his religious education at Darul Uloom Deoband.

They said that Haji Tarangzai also launched a campaign against growing influence of British customs and traditions among the people of sub-continent. He appealed the people to desist from adopting western culture as it was a major threat to their own customs and traditions, they added.

Hinting at PTI chief Imran Khan, the speakers said that religious scholars, not cricketers, freed the country from the clutches of British and Hindus. They alleged that Imran Khan was promoting culture of vulgarity in the barb of sit-in in Islamabad.

They said that JUI-F would not let Imran to succeed in imposing western culture on the nation. They said that the nation was proud of religious scholars and freedom fighters like Haji Sahib Tarangai.

They alleged that America after forming the government of its choice in Afghanistan was plotting to impose its touts and agents on Pakistan. They said that six attempts were made on the life of JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman. They said that it was responsibly of the government to probe attacks on him and expose the perpetrators.

The speakers termed the killing of JUI-F Sindh general secretary Khalid Soomro a failure of Sindh government. The Sindh government should resign after the incident, they said.

They criticised the PTI-led government in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and said cases were registered against 500 workers of JUI-F throughout the province on charges of staging protest against the killing of their leader on Nov 30.
