This is not the first incident of its kind in our country. Many..many incidents have taken place over the years where detainees were got freed by attacking mob..but..but nothing happens afterwards. In some rare cases the freed ones are re-arrested but no action is ever reported to have been taken against those who took part in the attack or those who master minded the same. And yet our rulers are never tired to claim and boast that rule of law will be ensured at any cost.

Thanks to Imran Khan's popular anarchist innuendos the whole nation is caught up in this fever. They must identify the culprits and make an example out of them, call the Army if you have.

This is mob rule in Pakistan. Shame on authorities for allowing this to happen. How can we even allow 100 people to gather without any intelligence being gathered on them so as to pre-empt such an activity in the first place?

This raises earnest concerns about the sovereignty of an independent nation.Attacks on civilians and even security departments can not be ruled out anywhere in the world but to make prisoners free from police is only feasible and viable in countries where criminal elements are too much penetrated.
