Two Muttahida men shot dead

KARACHI: Two workers of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) were shot dead in Orangi Town on Friday night, police and party officials said.

Shahid Hussain, 20, and Shahbaz, 32, were sitting at Cafe Tahsin in Chishti Nagar when gunmen attacked them.

They suffered critical injuries and were taken to Sindh Government Qatar hospital where doctors pronounced them as dead.

MQM spokesperson Wasay Jalil told Dawn the two MQM men fell victim to targeted killing.­
