LAHORE: Shah Faisal Club and Wahdat Eaglets will play the opening match of the West Zone One-day Cricket League at the Model Town ground on Friday.

The 40-over-a-side match will start at 9:30am.

West Zone Cricket Association secretary Nawab Mansoor Hayat Khan said 48 active clubs of the zone are participating in the event.

They have been divided into eight groups. Each team will play five league matches.

He further said complete draws along with playing conditions of the league had been sent to the participating teams.
