LAHORE: The Punjab Cup Open Indoor Archery Championships will be held at the Shahbaz Sharif Sports Complex in Rawalpindi on Dec 6 and 7.

Khawar Shah, president of the Punjab Archery Association, said a consolidated cash prize of Rs100,000 will be at stake in the championship with male and female winners getting Rs50,000 each.

Interested players are advised to get their entry from tournament secretary Manzar Shah, DSO Rawalpindi.

To qualify for the event, the players will shoot arrow 60 (or as decided by tournament committee) at the distance of 10m on a 40cm vertical triple face or a 40cm single face.

In the qualification round, the athletes will shoot arrows 60 (or as decided by the event committee) at the distance of 18m on a 40cm vertical triple face or a 40cm single face.

This round will be shot during the first day of the competition to select the top 16 men and women each for the main round.
