I WANT to draw attention towards the issue of laptop distribution in Karachi University as they might be distributed to students having connections rather than deserving ones.

Neither the university management nor any lecturers informed us that to get a laptop we first had to fill a form. Besides, no notice was put up regarding the matter on any notice board at any department or even the library so that the students could have done the needful. In fact, the provincial government should have put up ads regarding the distribution in all newspapers.

The authorities concerned should take prompt action to resolve the issue.
