KARACHI: Imran Siddiqui sailed into the final of the 20th PSO Pakistan ITF Seniors World Ranking Tennis Championship here at Karachi Gymkhana on Thursday as he beat Inamullah of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa 7-5, 3-0. Inamullah retired midway through the second set to concede the match.

In the 45-plus doubles semifinal, the experienced Rashid Malik paired with Imran Ali to beat Prasad Apte and M Saeed 6-0,6-0 and enter the final. In the 35-plus doubles semis, Israr Gul and Irfanullah duo overcame the pair of Ali Bhagat and M Manzar 6-2, 6-2.

45-plus singles semi-finals: Imran Siddique bt Inamullah (KPK, retd)) 7-5, 3-0.

45-plus doubles semi-final: Rashid Malik/Imran Ali bt Prasad Apte/M.A. Saeed 6-0, 6-0.

35-plus doubles semi-finals: Israr Gul (KPK)-Irfanullah bt Ali Bhagat-M. Manzar 6-2, 6-2.

55-plus doubles round robin: Col Dar/Ahmed Iltifat bt Mushtaq Ahmed/Akbar Hayat 6-1, 6-3.
