LAHORE: The 12th and the last prosecution witness against Gullu Butt told an anti-terrorism court on Tuesday the video showing the accused smashing private cars parked outside Minhajul Quran Secretariat was downloaded from internet.

The witness, Asif Shahzad, a cameraman of a private news channel, in his statement he gave to the ATC said he did not film the alleged offense committed by the suspect.

He said the video he gave to police was actually downloaded from the internet.

The court adjourned hearing till Oct 30 and asked the counsel to present final arguments.

Talking to the media outside the court, Butt said he had vandalised the cars in aggression. He said he had been receiving offers to work in films from many local directors.
