KARACHI: A 25-year-old man was shot dead in Chakiwara on Tuesday morning, police said.
They added that when Abid Habib came out of the Eidgah mosque in Singu Lane after offering Fajr prayers, armed motorcyclists attacked him.
He sustained critical wounds and was taken to the Civil Hospital Karachi, where doctors pronounced him dead on arrival.
The police said the victim was a muezzin of the mosque as well as watchman of the parking area in the same locality.
