LAHORE: The Lahore High Court has been requested to order arrest of Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) chief Dr Tahirul Qadri as he is ‘wanted in as many as 40 cases’ registered against him in different districts.

A citizen, Amjad Ali, stated in his petition that Dr Qadri had been booked under terrorism and other grave charges and he did not secured bail in any of the cases registered by police.

The petitioner said Dr Qadri had been trying to create chaos in the country through his speeches and activities.

He states that police should be ordered to arrest the PAT chief in light of cases registered against him.
