CM condemns attack on Fazl

LAHORE: Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif Thursday condemned the suicide attack on Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman in Quetta.

He expressed sorrow over the loss of human lives and said those playing with the lives of the innocent deserved no leniency. He prayed for recovery of the injured.

Shahbaz also telephoned Maulana Fazlur Rehman and inquired about him.

ENVOY: Ambassador of Norway Leif H. Larsen met the chief minister.

Talking to him, Shahbaz said there was need for strengthening trade relations between Norway and Pakistan, acknowledging that Norway had cooperated with Pakistan to improve public health facilities and develop other sectors.
