Water shortage

Published October 20, 2014

I wish to draw the attention of the authorities, towards acute water shortage in Gulistan-e-Jauhar. For the past several months, life for the people of this locality has become miserable due to the water shortage.

The pressure of the water is extremely low in many blocks, especially at the tail-end. The residents have been facing this situation for long and passed the hot summer without proper water supply.

The situation has now reached an alarming stage, and residents of the area seem left with no alternative except to start protests.

The authorities are requested to look into the matter.
