DERA ISMAIL KHAN: A former member of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly, Khalifa Abdul Qayyum, died in a hospital in Islamabad after protracted illness on Saturday. He was 60. He was undergoing treatment for kidney problem at the hospital.
The deceased left behind a son, six daughters and a widow to mourn his death. His funeral prayers would be held here on Sunday morning.
Mr Qayyum, who was born in Rori area of Kulachi tehsil, was a prominent leader of Ahle Sunnat Wal Jamaat.
