Pakistan is participating in the ongoing 17th Asian Games 2014 being held in the South Korean city of Incheon.

Below is a snapshot of Pakistan's performance today at the Games. More results will be added as they come in.


Boxing


Pakistan's Waseem Mohammad won the Men's Fly (52 KG) quarterfinal in Boxing against Kyrgyztan's Usenaliev Azat played at the Seonhak Gymnasium.


Shooting


Pakistan’s Usman Chand ranked at the 18th number in the Skeet Men's Qualification Day 1 at the Gyeonggido Shooting Range.


Kabaddi


Pakistan won by 24-11 from Bangladesh Men's Team Preliminary Group A Match 4 at the Songdo Global University Gymnasium - Court 1 in the 17th Asian Games Kabaddi event 2014.


Wrestling


Pakistan’s Muhammad Inam defeated Phonexay Phanchanxay of Lao by 5-0 in Men's Freestyle 86 kg 1/8 Final Bout No.124 at the Dowon Gymnasium - Mat A in the 17th Asian Games 2014.

In Men's Freestyle 74 kg Quarterfinal Bout No.153, Muhammad Asad Butt of Pakistan was defeated by Ezzatollah Akbarizarinkolaei of Iran by 4-0 at the Dowon Gymnasium - Mat B.

Kazakhstan’s Yesbolat Nurzhumbayev defeated Pakistan’s Muhammad Inam by 4-1 in the Men's Freestyle 86 kg Quarterfinal Bout No.131 at the Dowon Gymnasium - Mat A.


Table tennis


Aisha Iqbal Ansari and Syed Saleem Abbas Kazmi, who were representing Pakistan, lost to Thailand by 3-0 in mixed doubles 1/64 elimination match 11 at the Asian Games table tennis event at the Suwon Gymnasium - Court 7 today.

Thailand’s duo, who were playing against Pakistan, comprised Avechakul Padasak Tanviriy and Abut Suthasini Sawettabut.

In Mixed Doubles 1/32 Elimination Match 9, Pakistan’s Rahila Kashif and Muhammad Asim Qureshi were defeated by the Chinese Taipei team by 3-0.

In Women's Singles 1/64 Elimination Match 6, Batkhishig Batsaikhan of Mongolia defeated Pakistan's Aisha Iqbal Ansari by 4-1 at the Suwon Gymnasium-Court 2.

In Women's Doubles 1/32 Elimination Match 3, India’s Ankita Das and Poulomi Ghatak defeated Pakistan’s Rahila Kashif and Shabnam Bilal by 3-0.

In Men's Singles 1/64 Elimination Match 14, Pakistan’s Muhammad Rameez defeated Long Lam Che of China at the Suwon Gymnasium - Court 6.
