One more feather in filmmaker Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy’s cap. She has been named by Asia Society as one of the 2014 Asia Game Changers. For the uninitiated, the award acknowledges individuals who are making a positive difference for the future of the world in general and Asia in particular.

The Asia Game Changer Awards Dinner and Celebration will be held on Oct 16 at the United Nations, which will also feature a video address by none other than our very own Malala Yousufzai. A doubly delightful treat!
