GUJRAT: The district administration has fixed four points for sale of sacrificial animals in the city, while at least five people have been booked by the assistant commissioner for illegally selling the animals on green belts along the GT Road.
According to a notification, DCO Liaquat Ali Chattha has banned the sale of sacrificial animals at any point in the city except the four points fixed for the purpose – the main gate of the Industrial Estate Area, Rehmania bridge, Boly bridge and in front of the railway station.
