RAWALPINDI: A kiln worker was gunned down and another injured by two of their rivals who were later killed when their motorcycle crashed into a passenger van coming from the opposite side.

Though the van driver remained unhurt, two passengers of the van were badly injured, police said.

After killing Noorul Haq, the killers escaped on their motorcycle but they also died in the accident.The investigating officer SI Zaheerurddin Babar said both the parties belonged to the same tribal area and had been running some land dispute.

He said the bodies were handed over to their families after the postmortem.

A 32 bore pistol used by the alleged killers in the crime was also seized by the police.
