RAWALPINDI: A 50-year-old man committed suicide in Tench Bhatta on Friday, police said.
The police said the body of Khalid Mehmood, a welder by profession, was found hanging from the ceiling of his room when his wife opened the door in the morning.
In her statement recorded with the police, the woman said she got married to Mr Mehmood about 22 years ago and lived a happy life.
The police said no suicide note was found from the victim’s room.
