PESHAWAR: At least 23 suspected militants were killed in the North Waziristan Agency as military planes continued their attacks in the troubled region on the second consecutive day on Thursday. According to an Inter-Services Public Relations press release, militant hideouts were bombed in Zerom and Ismail Khel areas of Dattakhel subdivision. It said that 23 suspected militants were killed in the air strike.

About 90 suspects have been killed in air strikes since Tuesday, according to official claims. Forty militants were killed in North Waziristan on Wednesday and 25 in Tirah Valley of Khyber Agency on Tuesday.
