15 militants killed in NWA

PESHAWAR: Fifteen militants were killed and hideouts destroyed in air strikes carried out by army’s helicopter gunships in North Waziristan Agency on Monday, Inter Services Public Relations said.

An ISPR statement said that combat choppers targeted hideouts in Tabai area. It said that five hideouts and 15 explosive-laden vehicles were also destroyed in the assault.

The claim could not be verified through independent sources.
