Boy killed by landmine

DERA MURAD JAMALI: A 10-year-old boy was killed and four others were seriously injured in a landmine explosion at Uraz Mohammad village on Sunday evening, police said.

Unidentified people had planted the landmine in the village, which exploded when 10-year-old Sunhari stepped on it.

“The boy died and four people passing through the area at the time of the explosion were injured,” police said.

The injured, identified as Shahnawaz, Abdul Razaq, Bakhtiar and Patloi, were taken to the district hospital.
