THE ongoing sit-in and protests in Islamabad have a positive side for our lower middle class and upper middle class who have finally realised that they have their own personal right in the politics of Pakistan.
They now think about their rights and understand the value of their vote. People are now demanding reforms to have their basic rights. Such protests must be encouraged to ensure the spirit of the constitution.

Such protests need to be encouraged for sure...for sure. But most of us have become so selfish and thus indifferent to the problems facing the country and its masses that we instead put all the blame on protesters for disturbing daily affairs. This attitude of masses is well known to our rulers and that is the reason as to why they treat and handle the protest demonstrations in the brutal manner. We need to wake up from such indifference and selfishness before it is too late.
