ISLAMABAD: A DawnNews cameraman was injured during the police action against protesters of the Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) here on Saturday.
Ishtiaq Hussain said that he was on assignment near the Prime Minister House, making video footage of PAT activists, when he came under attack from policemen.
“The policemen caned the protesters and despite knowing that I was a media person they also beat me. My camera was smashed during the police action.”
