KARACHI: Spinner Shahzaib Ahmed Khan continued his wicket-taking form as Pakistan CC qualified for the KCCA Zone-VI ‘A’ Division League Cricket Tournament final with a 75-run win over Metropolitan CC here on Friday.

Shahzaib, the former Pakistan Under-19 leg-spinner, grabbed five wickets for 27 runs to send Metropolitan CC crashing to 129 all out in the first semi-final at the KCCA Stadium.

Slow left-armer Fawad Khan captured two wickets for 18 runs while S.M. Tahami was the top-scorer for Metropolitan CC with 32.

Earlier, Pakistan CC reached 204-9 in their stipulated 40 overs. Opener Fazal Subhan struck a brace of sixes and as many fours in making exactly 50. Javed Mansoor contributed 35.

Slow left-armer Saud Shakeel claimed four wickets for 29 runs and Saad Zahid 2-14.

Shahzaib was adjudged man-of-the-match.
