Saeed Ajmal likely to play Pakistan-Sri Lanka decider

DAMBULLA: Pakistan's spin maestro and world's top-ranked bowler Saeed Ajmal has joined the national side and is likely to play the third One Day International (ODI) against Sri Lanka, DawnNews reported.

Three-match series between the two Asian cricketing giants stands equal after Pakistan steered to a nail-biting victory in the first game before Sri Lanka hit-back with a crushing 77-run win in the second ODI.

Pakistan is likely to replace Junaid Khan with Saeed Ajmal in the series-deciding third ODI . Junaid's performance throughout the tour has been dismal.

Ajmal, 36, traveled to Australia where he had tests conducted on his action which had been reported ‘suspected’. He had missed the first two one dayers.
