LAHORE: The new body of the Punjab chapter of Pakistan Medical Association (PMA) for the session 2014-15 has been announced.Election Commissioner Dr Sarwar Chaudhry in a statement on Wednesday declared the body elected unopposed.

Dr Izhar Chaudhry was declared PMA Punjab president (elect), Dr Kamran Saeed general secretary, Dr Tehsina Zafar and Dr Maira Gull joint secretaries and Dr Alim Nawaz treasurer.

The vice-presidents are: Dr Rana Sohail (Lahore), Dr Abdul Qayyum (Gujranwala), Dr Tariq Sahi (Rawalpindi), Dr Saulat Nawaz (Faisalabad), Dr Sikandar Hayat (Sargodha), Dr Iftikhar Ahmad Bhatti (Bahawalpur), Dr M Rasheed (Dera Ghazi Khan) and Dr Aslam Chaudhry (Sahiwal).
