KARACHI: Azam Khan scored a wonderful century to inspire Northern Gymkhana to an emphatic seven-wicket victory over Ravi Gymkhana in the KCCA Zone-VI ‘A’ Division League Cricket Tournament here on Monday.

Azam struck 15 boundaries and four sixes on his way to scoring 120 as Northern Gymkhana made light work of their chase for 215 by making 218 in the 33rd over at the RLCA Ground in North Kar­achi; Tabraiz Shah scored 43.

Earlier, Ravi Gymkhana collected 214-9 in the allotted 40 overs with Shaharyar Khan contributing 67. All-rounder Waqas Haroon grabbed five for 72 with his leg-spinners.

Taimuria Sports, meanwhile, beat North Shire CC by five wickets in a low-scoring fixture at the KCCA Stadium.
