Fakhru Bhai

Published August 22, 2014

IN the midst of all the chaos and build-up towards a revolutionary “freedom” march by the PTI and PAT, the one name that has been entirely smeared by the end of the day is one of the most non-controversial, dignified and most-likeable personalities of Pakistan: Justice (Retd) Fakhruddin G. Ibrahim, popularly known as Fakhru Bhai.

Surely, when he was given the responsibility of Chief Election Commissioner, he did not realise that he was falling into a rabbit hole of disparagement. Here falls another victim to the dirty game of Pakistani politics.
