Found Hanged

A 16-year-old girl was found hanged with the ceiling fan of a rented property in Sharif Colony, Gulberg, on Monday.

Ghalib Market police shifted the body for autopsy.

Victim's brother Iqbal told police his sister, who lived along with him and worked as a maid, apparently committed suicide. Iqbal and his wife found Sidra absent from her charpoy and later spotted her body hanging at the upper floor of the house. Police suspected the girl had been strangled with a piece of cloth.
