THE authorities’ only remedy to ensure peace in Karachi is to ban pillion riding. However, this measure has not stopped nor reduced the lawlessness that prevails in the city.
The motocycle is a mode of transportation used by the less well-to-do. With their meagre resources, it is difficult for them to spend additional money on other modes of transportation.
The government is requested to come up with practical and citizen-friendly measures in its efforts to restore law and order.

This is only money matter! nothing more. Transport mafia is very strong in Pakistan.And its backup by politicians Police officers
and Defense personnel too. As they run Transport companies etc. Its estimated that during pillion riding ban,each day transport ers earn Rs 10 Million per day extra.Justification for this Ban maintain law and order is to make only fool.
