RAWALPINDI: A utility store was robbed in the bustling Chaklala Housing Scheme III in broad daylight on Monday, police said.

Arshad Mehmmod, the manager of the utility outlet, told the police that four men riding two heavy motorcycles arrived in the store and overpowered security guard Mohammad Rafiq. Later, they held the utility store staff and customers hostage at gunpoint. The bandits snatched cash from the store and the customers amounting to Rs400,000 from the store and customers and escaped.
