QUETTA: Sardar Akhtar Mengal, president of the Balochistan National Party-Mengal, fell ill while travelling from Karachi to his hometown in Khuzdar district on Sunday.

According to reports, Sardar Mengal was going to his native Wadh town along with some other leaders of his party. During the journey he complained that he was not feeling well.

His companions abandoned the journey and took their leader back to Karachi for medical check-up.

Sources said that Sardar Mengal was stable but would stay in Karachi for further check-ups.
