Cool off with crocodile ice cream

JUST when we thought things couldn’t get any weirder, here comes a restaurant in the Philippines, that has introduced a new type of ice cream made by crocodile eggs! The owners of the restaurant Sweet Spot Eatery, Dino and Biance Ramos, started selling this peculiar type of ice cream when they got a batch of crocodile eggs from Dino’s uncle.

Apparently, this has become extremely popular there and Dino stated, “Of course it is regular ice cream that doesn’t taste of crocodile meat.”

Only the eggs which don’t hatch or are extra are used in the making. Crocodile eggs are said to be 80 percent yolk and much healthier than chicken’s eggs. Wanna try some?

Singing during throat surgery

A PROFESSIONAL singer, Alama Kante, in France, chose to sing during her entire throat surgery through means of hypnosis so that her vocal cords are not harmed. The procedure was to basically remove her thyroid gland so that she would have lesser chances of cancer.

Normally, such a procedure is conducted under anaesthesia with a tube inserted within the throat. However, to ensure Kante’s vocal cords to stay intact, Dr Gilles Dhonneur decided to let her be under medical hypnosis during the surgery so she may stay responsive. He also stated that without hypnosis, the pain during such a procedure is severe. Kante kept remembering the lyrics ‘Fight, never give up’ during surgery and eventually made it through without anaesthesia!

TESSI is the company responsible for handling the cleanliness of the train. They have to ensure that once the train stops and before the next wave of customers arrive the train is sparkling clean within seven minutes. Furthermore, the workers have a strict timetable that they must follow assigning one worker to a 100 seats. Their admiring service has leaded them to be famous around the world.

Puppies born with green fur

A COUPLE, who are dog breeders in Spain, were recently shocked to find that their dog had given birth to puppies out of which two had bright green fur!

They were both much weaker than the rest of the puppies and the female one died shortly after being born. The male puppy is still alive, however, he is also weak and is losing his pigmentation.

One of the dog breeders, Ms Molina, stated that she initially thought that they were covered in dirt and tried to clean them but then realised that this is the colour of their coat. Daniel Valverde, a local vet within the area is investigating the cause of death and plans to run some tests to find out what caused this. Some experts believe that this could happen due to the exposure of the substance biliverdin, which is found within the placenta and can be the cause of the greenish textured coat.
