ISLAMABAD: Lawmakers constituted a sub-committee on Wednesday to investigate appointments in the ministry of communications and its subordinate departments.
A meeting of the National Assembly’s standing committee on communications took place at the Parliament House where members agreed to form a sub-committee to investigate appointments made over the past five years.
The committee will submit its report within a month. The meeting was convened to discuss the appointments, but officials of the ministry and attached departments failed to provide the exact information.
