KARACHI: A timely action by the police on Sunday evening prevented a possible destruction in the Bahadurabad area, where a bomb was defused, officials said.
A bomb disposal squad official said that around one kilogramme improvised explosive device with a time device was defused outside a home in Bahadurabad.
The official said that the bomb was kept under a parked car.
Bahadurabad SHO Zaibunissa said the possible target could be the house owned by Ahsan. However, she added that the police were probing the case.
