LAHORE: Newly appointed chairman of Water and Power Development Authority Zafar Mahmood assumed the charge of his office here at the Wapda House on Saturday.
Members of the authority and other senior officials concerned briefed the chairman on various important issues relating to Wapda with special emphasis on Diamer-Bhasha Dam Project, according to a spokesman. The briefing lasted for over four hours.
