BAHAWALNAGAR: Two people died and two others sustained serious injuries when their car crashed into a tree in Macleod Ganj.

Police said Shahzad, Yasin, Mohammad Ahmad and Shafquat were traveling in the car along with a wedding procession. Their car collided with a roadside tree near Haddiwala, 55 kilometres from Bahawalnagar. Shahzad and Yasin died while Muhammad Ahmad and Shafquat sustained serious injuries and were shifted to the district headquarters hospital. The crash victims are stated to be the resident of Basti Loharka.
