MIRPURKHAS: Sindh chief minister has taken notice of allegations of large-scale corruption and irregularities in the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE), Mirpurkhas, after receiving complaints in this regard, according to reliable sources.

The sources told Dawn on Wednesday that a special team of the chief minister would soon arrive here to conduct an inquiry into the allegations.

Meanwhile, workers and office-bearers of Mirpurkhas chapter of the All Pakistan Clerks Association continued protest against the BISE chairman and officers at Market Chowk against alleged misuse of powers and misappropriation of funds by the chairman and his staff.
