This is the second season of Aamir Khan’s TV show Satyamev Jaytey. This time round he is in a bit of spot of bother. As soon as the second episode of the programme went on air, some people (you know who they are) alleged Aamir K of investing the money that he’s inviting people to send to different charities on the show in areas that not liked by a certain segment of society. Aamir K responded by saying that it’s not the case.

Though this writer is not a fan of Aamir K’s acting abilities, it has to be said that his TV gig is one endeavor which should not be looked at in an unfavorable light. It has struck a chord with Indian society; and every society, including Pakistan’s, should have a show like that. For at the core of it all, it’s a programme that aims to evoke the latent conscientiousness in human beings.
