ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, while chairing a high-level security meeting, said on Monday that attacks on citizens and personnel of Pakistan's armed forces would not be tolerated and that the anti-terror draft bill would be finalised soon, DawnNews reported.

The meeting was also attended by Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif, Federal Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan, Director General of Inter Services Intelligence (ISI) Lieutenant General Zahirul Islam, Director General of Military Operations of Pakistan Army (DGMO) Major General Aamer Riaz and other high-ranking security officials.

Topics discussed during the meeting included anti-terror legislation and the ongoing operations in Karachi and Federally Administered Tribal Areas (Fata) of Pakistan.

Premier Sharif instructed the security officials to take action against those behind terror incident and said that such attacks, which target civilians and members of the armed forces would not be tolerated.
