PESHAWAR: The Tourism Corporation Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (TCKP) is sponsoring a jeep water rally at Indus River Bridge on Islamabad-Peshawar Motorway on Sunday (December 22). Sixty jeeps from Lahore, Islamabad and Abbottabad would participate in the ‘Indus River 4x4 Water Cross, 2013’. The event is organised by Frontier 4x4 Club.

In a press release issued here on Tuesday, TCKP managing director Mushtaq Ahmad Khan said that the participants would cross River Indus on jeeps. The event also included paragliding and speed boating, he added.

Mr Khan said that TKCP was introducing new projects and events keeping in mind the influence of youth in daily life and changing trends.
