KARACHI, Sept 7: The drug enforcement cell of the Pakistan Customs seized one kilogram of heroin and arrested a suspected trafficker at Karachi airport on Saturday.

A Customs spokesman said that during routine checking the customs official found the heroin concealed in the suitcase of a passenger who was going to Saudi Arabia.

“The passenger, identified as Muhammad Shahzad, hails from Gujrat. He was heading to Jeddah via a Saudi airline. He has been arrested and further investigations are under way.”
