An Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) of Rawalpindi Saturday remanded Imtiaz Khokhar alias Taji Khokhar to the local police for three days in a woman murder case.

The court ordered the police to get medical check-up of Taji Khokhar from the district headquarters hospital.

Taji Khokhar, the younger brother of former deputy speaker National Assembly Haji Nawaz Khokhar, is one of the accused in the murder of Sabra Bibi.

The woman was shot dead on August 17, 2012 in Dhoke Ganjal near the Islamabad Expressway.

The deceased woman had a land dispute with Taji Khokhar and was fighting a case in a civil court of Rawalpindi.

The court in 2012 constituted a local commission comprising a lawyer Raja Saimul Haq Satti to get to the bottom of the dispute.
