Tragic stampede

Published July 15, 2013

A FEW years back almost 19 women were killed and dozens injured in Karachi during the distribution of food items during Ramazan. A similar situation arose recently in Karachi which led to the death of two women while large numbers of them fell unconscious during the distribution of ration.

The government should consider setting up centres where the distribution of food items can be easily divided among the people without any unpleasant incident.
