Bus impounded

ISLAMABAD, July 11: The capital police impounded a passenger bus, plying between Peshawar and Rawalpindi, with 16 CNG cylinders being installed on its rooftop.

The Sabzi Mandi police said on Thursday that during an inspection the buses at Mandi Mor they found the cylinders installed at the roof of the bus. Each cylinder can carry up to 50-kg CNG.

The police took the bus in their custody and arrested its driver, and shifted them to police station for further legal action.

A case was registered against the bus driver, but later he was released on bail.—Staff Reporter
