THIS refers to the blocking of YouTube by the previous government. The new government must unblock YouTube and allow millions of Pakistani Internet users to access it.

YouTube is an informative and entertainment website. Moreover, daily hundreds of thousands of technicians visit the site and find guidance in their relevant fields. The former prime minister once directed the department concerned to reopen YouTube, but the site was again banned within hours. Since the government banned the website in September 2012, there does not seem to be any progress on filtration of the specified videos and links.

The blockade of the YouTube is contrary to the freedom of free access to information. Like other countries, the government must work out for a mechanism to filter abusive and blasphemous videos instead of blocking the whole website.

Anything related or even remotely alluded to sex is strictly forbidden among Muslims. Unfortunately, it includes most of the arts, according to mullah, which is the only thing Nature gave us to balance the pains of life. ?

Just for one minute stop thinking about retrieving of you tube.Give me the answer that Has the purpose been fulfilled for which the you tube service had blocked. If yes then it is moment of applause but if not, then why the public in general and the government in particular is too eager to retrieve this service. Is not it a moment of shame for all Muslims that they even do not have their own kinda service which can act as an alternative to you tube.

Did not you listen to the oath taken by the new PM? He is bound to protect the Islamic ideology which is the basis of Pakistan. So I guess youtube will stay banned as it represents serious threat to Islamic ideology( which is the basis of Pakistan).
