PESHAWAR: At least three people were killed and three others injured in explosion in a vehicle near Tableeghi Markaz on Panjaggi road in the suburbs of Peshawar after Friday prayers.

The casualties persons were shifted to the nearby Lady Reading Hospital, eyewitnesses told Dawn.com.

The blast occurred in a Suzuki pickup van and the nature of blast was being ascertained, according to AIG Bomb Disposal Squad.

Security persons reached the blast site and cordoned off the area.
